Recycle, reuse and live green
I know everyone seems to be doing there bit to save the planet and to live a more eco life. I think reusing, recycling and living with new old things really helps to stop the consumerism that eats away at some many aspects of peoples lives. It can be a small thing but it really does impact how to view the world and helps to develop a greater understanding of waste versus buy. Charity shops are a great bastion of reusing older preloved things and they also do good in the world, a win win. I have donated and purchased lots of different things and have always felt its the right thing to do. Household or general waste is being recycled via councils or composting and that is a great thing. Its a pity the revenue from this isnt put back into the peoples pockets that recycle in the first place, but you cant have everything. painting and recycling old pieces of furniture has always been something i have enjoyed doing and will continue to do x Its amazing what you can achieve with an old roll or samples of wallpaper and some paint. In the garden is where you can always find ways to do things on the cheap, we used an old water trough as a planter and reused scaffold boards into raised beds. Its pallets that are next on the list we are collecting them to make a pallet fence and other bits in the garden and house ( pinterest has lots of ideas for pallet uses ). Here are some ideas for recycling.
