With the advent of a beautiful sun this morning, it was time to get out in the garden to wash away the winter coat from the garden and get the vegetable beds ready for planting.
Everything is springing into action so a little trim was in order for many plants from the last years growth. Its a wonderful time of year when the sun begins to throw out a little heat and brighten up the sky and the garden. Winter is stark so its really fantastic to finally see bulbs breaking through the ground.

This bed is in need of attention tomorrow
I spent time sweeping away the debris blown all over the garden and using the pressure washer to get the flagstones cleaned of algae. This was a time consuming boring job but a necessary evil to show the beautiful fossilized leaves in our flagstones. I love them and they were second hand reclaimed stone.
