Last year we put in two raised beds for two rhubarb plants to be put in, we used compost and veg peelings to rot down over a year to give a great nutrient rich soil. We have one rhubarb plant which cost only £2 from wilkinsons and we are going to purchase one more so we have some amazing huge rhubarb in two of the beds. There is nothing in the world as yummy as rhubarb crumble. Cant wait to get to the tasting hee hee.
The beds before today which we filled with veg peelings and topped up with compost which we made.
The new improved beds with some stones i bought 3 years ago and some found stones in the garden. The mulch bark was used last year and there was 1/2 a bag left which was ideal.
Looking cute and should grow lovely and large rhubarb stems x
